Des Moines Eagle Claw Kung Fu School is highly involved in the community. We use our martial arts skills to bring a better understanding of the Chinese culture and Kung Fu to central Iowa. We have been on Television and in the printed news on many occasions.
Our lion dance tells the story of a playful lion who wakes up and
stretches. He then spots a crowd of people. He shows his respect by
bowing and winking to the people. He then realizes he is hungry and
spots food on the other side of a bridge. He is afraid at first but
makes it across and begins playing with his food.
Our traditional lion dance is perfect for your Chinese new years
celebration or cultural event. It is also an excellent choice for any
special event. It is thought to bring good luck and prosperity
throughout the year.
