Sifu Don Walth had six years of Karate before finding the Ying Jow Pai School in New York City. Instruction was given under Grand Master Leung Shum until 1991 when he and his family moved to Des Moines, IA. Continual instruction and training is still being held at the New York City.

                           
”Whenever possible I return to New York City to refresh my training and further my knowledge in Eagle Claw Kung Fu, Yang and Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. I consider myself a perpetual student, because there is so much to learn in this style. I try to get each student to develop to their best potential. It is very rewarding to see students achieving goals and techniques they didn’t think they could possibly do.”

In 2005 Sifu Don Walth was inducted into the USA Martial Arts hall of Fame. He and his students have been in International magazines, on TV and in the newspapers.
